Boxing Day Score Event

Ace of Herts, Ashridge S and E
Entries are now open for our biggest event of the year, on Sunday 2 March at Ashridge. Note that the new parking place, although there’s a 1km walk in, means that everybody will spend time in the interesting area of Northchurch Common, which only the longest courses typically visit.
Next Saturday Series event Cancelled
Our next Saturday Series event, at Stanborough Park, Welwyn Garden City on December 7th, is cancelled due to Storm Darragh.
We are looking to reschedule and will automatically transfer your entry to the new date, or offer you a refund if you can’t make it.
Yvette Baker Trophy and Shield Final
We’re proud to present the national finals of the Yvette Baker Trophy and Shield at Northaw on 7 July. Entries are now open for YBT and YBS through club Team Managers.
There is also an open event – all welcome – on the same area in the morning. Entries for that are also open.

Welwyn Garden City Race
Entries are still open for the Welwyn Garden City Race but map numbers have been decided. Enter soon to get your preferred course. The race was planned as part of the celebrations for WGC’s centenary in 2020. For local residents, this is also the Centenary Map Challenge. More details

We are pleased to say that our biggest event of the year, the Ace of Herts, will take place on February 27 on Ashridge East & South. Entries are now open.

Depleted HH juniors achieve 6th place!
The Yvette Baker Trophy is always an exciting competition for our juniors and 2021 was no exception. With a good mixture of experienced athletes and comparative beginners it was going to be hard to hold onto our third place from 2019. And then Covid struck.. Read more…
AGM – membership fees down!
We held our AGM by Zoom on 8th September. The club element of subscriptions for next year will be halved, as a gesture to members recognising that we haven’t been able to do all we wanted to do for you this year.
On the committee, Ben Bardsley takes over as Treasurer from Hugh Wiltshire, who falls foul of the HH rule that committee members can only do 3 years in one role. Many thanks to Hugh for handling things so efficiently.
