Lockdown Champs Success for HH Juniors – Hertfordshire Orienteering Club

The Lockdown Orienteering Championships, also known as the ‘British Virtual Champs’ were held on the weekend of 26-28th June. Poppy finished in 2nd place in class W12.

Moving on to the weekend of 17-19th July and designated the ‘Junior Weekend’, Poppy again excelled by repeating her earlier success and again coming 2nd in W12.

Her mother, Katie, commented that ‘She has worked really hard to learn more about orienteering while it hasn’t been possible to do it!’.

There was more success for HH juniors in the July weekend with Issy taking a strong 9th place in W12 and Oliver coming 16th in M16 (5th M14).
