Saturday League Results
We have made some changes to the scoring of the Saturday League for this season to allow competitors more flexibility in the courses they run and allowing points from both runs on longer courses and shorter course (scaled at 75%) to count towards your league total on the course you run most frequently. Organiser’s Comments
Many thanks to everyone who turned out for our Verulamium event this afternoon. The weather cooperated and we had over 150 entries in the end. It was great to see so many school children taking part, and we had quite a few orienteering first-timers as well.
Verulamium park is perfect for junior orienteers and beginners, but offers limited opportunity for serious orienteering challenges. I think that David Saunders did a great job of making the most of the area in the courses he planned, so thank you to him. Thanks also to the many other volunteers who made the event run smoothly.
Lost Property: some money was found at the start and that the loser should contact the treasurer for its return…
