Organisers Comments
Despite the rain and the mud, we still had a very good turnout and everyone appeared to enjoy themselves very much. Having a base in the Sea Cadets Hall was big plus; it was large enough to accommodate the pre-event training as well download, registration and to provide an area where people could gather before and after their runs in the warm and dry.
Thanks to all the HH helpers who were as proficient as ever which made my life extremely easy and a big well done to Tim who planned for the first time. The feedback was that the courses were good and interesting, not always the easiest thing to achieve in an area like the park.
Our next Saturday Series event is at Mardley on January 5th.
