Organiser’s Comments
We hope you enjoyed our first ever event in Panshanger ParkWest. The weather was a lot kinder than yesterday and Tom’s courses used the best parts of the woodland to great advantage. A good day to be orienteering!
As an organiser, I had a very easy role thanks to all the people who helped out with their usual combination of competence and flexibility. All seemed to run smoothly without any real issues arising at any time – great from my standpoint.
Our next “Saturday Series” event is planned to be on Monday May 8th at Cassiobury Park in Watford. We are still waiting the final permissions for this as we’ve had to shift the date at fairly late notice when we found out the coronation will be in the morning on the 6th, not later in the afternoon as we’d expected. We will open entries once we are sure we can go ahead. We hope to see you there.
