Organisers Comments
Northaw was looking at its best today so I was pleased to see such a high turnout for a level C (242, 56 more than we anticipated on Friday evening). Even without the Cuffley Centre, Jane and Barry Breed were able to set some interesting and challenging courses which appear to have been enjoyed by all. I think we are all glad that the event had to be postponed for a week so that instead of rain we had sunshine and a perfect autumn day.
My thanks to landowners, both of the woods and also Tolmers Scout Camp for permission to use their areas.
Finally, my thanks to everyone from HH who made everything run smoothly on the day.

String Course
A happy bunch of budding orienteers turned up to attend the string course at Northaw. Many of them did it a few times to see if they could get a PB (perhaps due to the prize being a piece of flap-jack!).
