Organisers Comments
My second attempt at being organiser was accompanied by a mixture of trepidation and over confidence. I needn’t have worried, apart from putting up the tents, which had echoes of Laurel and Hardy, the experienced hands got on with it and the newbies brought enthusiasm, such that the whole event worked like clockwork.
For things outside our control the weather that was dry but overcast and the ground that was already uneven was made more unpredictable by the long grass.
