Welwyn Garden City Centenary

***Latest News***

The Photo trail is now open.  Collect a free map from Waterstones or the Oxfam bookshop in Howardsgate.  During lockdown, print off an A4 version of the map using the links below.  Then navigate your way round the WGC town centre and Handside.  Walk or run.  Do it solo or in a family group.  We hope to reopen regular events to newcomers in early 2021 in a Covid-safe format.

Come and try orienteering as part of Welwyn Garden City’s centenary celebrations in 2020 and 2021. There’s a friendly welcome and help for newcomers.

It’s great for families and walkers. It’s healthy exercise in varied locations. Kids love meeting and taking part. They will drag you back.

It’s great for runners. You’ll work harder because you’re distracted by the navigation, even the easy stuff. Swap variety for those endless reps.

We’re sure you have questions about whether this is for you or your kids, and how to get started.  Take a look at our Introduction For Newcomers.
