Welcome to one of our Saturday series events which is also part of the Youth League. Beginners are very welcome and there are courses for all standards.
|Deciduous managed woodland with intricate path network and some interesting ground features with steeper slopes to north.
Please note that after all the recent rain, many of the paths have very muddy sections, especially on Junior courses, so come with suitable footwear and clothing including full leg cover.
|Templewood School, AL8 7SD, Welwyn Garden City, O signs off Digswell Road.
We should be able to accommodate all competitors in the school car parks. If we fill up, the parking will be on street – as follows:
1. Parking at rear of school, postcode: AL8 7LJ
Parking is restricted immediately around the school entrance.
|Welwyn Garden City station 1.3km. Many bus services.
|Courses for everybody from beginners of any age to experienced orienteers.
|First timers are very welcome. Look for our greeters in hi-vis jackets who will give you socially-distanced help.
If you’re not run before, we suggest most people start with yellow. Young juniors, say primary school age, and family groups are better on white. People confident with a map and compass may start on orange.
