Once again the Juniors led the way with a first place in the Junior Ad-hoc with Ben, Tegan and Hannah coming out on top. This was yet another gold medal for Tegan and Hannah having won the Intermediate Woman’s relay at the JK.

And our W50 team of Janet R, Helen E and Alison H finished in the silver medal position having finished in 4th place in the Veteran Ladies relay at the JK.

Congratulations to them all.

JK 2019

HH members once again produced a respectable set of results in the JK Relays at Minley near Aldershot.

Leading the way were the Ladies Intermediate team of Sophie, Tegan and Hannah.  Sophie led off and returned in second place just 1 minute and 30 seconds down on the leader. Tegan also had an excellent run and managed to reduce the deficit to around one minute. Hannah went out determined to catch up and did so to such an extent that the HH winners were 5 minutes ahead of the second team.

The Ladies success was quickly followed by success for the Men’s Short Open team of Tom C, Alex and James E. Never out of the top 3, all the team had good runs although James had to work hard to win by just 14 seconds.

HH also had another top ten success in the same relay with the team of Tom R, Graham P and Ian M finishing 8th.

Our third podium success was in the Ladies’ Short Open relay where the team of Laura P, Sian M and Becky R finishing in 3rd place. Laura led off and returned in the leading pack. Sian pulled the team up to 4th just two minutes behind the leader and Becky picked up a further place gaining yet another podium place for the club.

The HH Veteran Ladies’ team of Janet R, Helen E and Alison H just missed out on a podium result coming in 4th

Other top ten results came from the Veteran Men’s team of Kevin F, Simon E and Kevin H who finished 7th and the Intermediate Men’s team of Josh M, Ben G and Dominic B who finished in 8th place.

Many congratulations to all of them.
