Saturday League 2019 – 20

The 2019 – 2020 Saturday League has unfortunately been curtailed by lock-down and now that the last event in the season (July’s) has been cancelled the committee has decided to to score the league based on the 7 events that did occur. In consideration of the shortened season the results have been recalculated with a runner’s best 5 scores counting rather than the usual best 8 in a season of 10 events.

Course winners for 2019 – 20 are:

• Yellow – Leila Rose Chin
• Orange – Alice Soulsby
• Light Green – Tadas Lukosevicius
• Short Blue – David Dixon

Congratulations to all for both their performances and high league attendance – both are required to achieve a high placing.  The full result listing can be found here

The first event of the 2020 – 21 Saturday League is likely to be at Panshanger and hopefully can be held at the normal start of the league season on the first Saturday in September.   This obviously will depend on the lock-down restrictions in force in the autumn, but we hope to have a more complete season than for the 2019 – 20 League.
