Janet’s Porto Double!

Our intrepid reporter Stu Levene writes:

Congratulations are in order to our own Janet Rosen who picked up a pair of victories in the Women’s SuperVet category at the Porto City Race, winning the Day 2 Sprint and the Day 3 City Race, both of which took place in the eastern suburbs – a mix of social housing, ornamental parks and charming passage-laden neighbourhoods.

The weekend as a whole (with a Night Race in the city centre on the Friday) was well-organised with starts and finishes adjacent to the assembly arenas and – needless to say – copious amounts of port on offer as winner’s prizes. It’s a shame Janet wasn’t around on Day 1 as she would have been nailed-on for a treble!
