Hitchin East Street-O, 16th August 2022
Despite the forecast of thunder the rain held off until tonight’s event finished. David had designed an excellent course round the east of Hitchin, with the limited railway crossing points forcing you to decide relatively early on how far you wanted to go. There was plenty of route choice, and every control was visited at least once. Many of us were confused by the cul-de-sacs, foiled by the false footpath junctions, or regretted our route choices…all of which added to the enjoyment!
