Welcome to our Saturday Series and Youth League event at VENUE. Beginners are very welcome and there are courses for all standards. Phasels Wood Activity Centre

Location  Phasels Wood Scout Camp, nr Hemel Hempstead
Terrain  Runnable Woodland mixed with Parkland
Parking  Via a lay-by on A41 northbound carriageway signposted “Scout Camp Access via lay-by”. This is the second layby after M25 roundabout (junction 20). Grid Reference TL054 041.
No access from A41 Southbound.
Courses Yellow – 1.8km (Junior Beginners)
Orange – 2.6km (Junior Intermediates & Adult Beginners)
Light Green – 3.4km (Adult Intermediates & above)
Blue – 6.4km (Adult Intermediates & above)
Starts Register from 09:45 to 11:15 or visit http://sat.maptypes.org to reserve map/dibber but check website as normally only available a week in advance.
Last start 11:30.  Courses close at 12:30.
Fees Non-HH members: Adults £5, Juniors £2
HH members: Adults £3, Group Juniors £1, Individual Juniors £FREE.
Adults accompanying juniors are free.
Punching Sportident punching will be used.
Dibber hire £1.00. Charge for lost dibbers £30
Map 1:5000 overprinted for all courses. [Courses start and finish near the car park].
Facilities Toilets on scout camp 200-300 yard walk from Car Park. Orange squash and water at finish.
Dogs Not allowed.
Event Cancellation If snow / ice make travelling or terrain dangerous, an event cancellation notice will be placed on the HH website on the Friday evening.
