| Public Transport | Oakwood underground station on the Piccadilly line – a direct connection from Central London and Heathrow airport every 10 minutes! 1.2 km walk (allow 15 minutes) along Snakes Lane to the car park. |
| Directions | Signposted off the A110 near Oakwood underground station. Turn off at J24 of M25 onto the A111 heading south towards Cockfosters and Southgate, after 3 miles turn left at the roundabout onto the A110, then after half a mile, just after Oakwood station, turn left into Snakes Lane. |
| Terrain | Mixture of gently undulating parkland and wooded areas with some brambles. |
| Map | 1:10000, 5m contours. Controls will be pre-marked on waterproof paper (no bags). |
| Courses | Maximum 60 minutes score event:
Penalty of 20 points for each minute or part thereof late. Bonus of 10 points for each minute early, provided all controls have been visited. |
| Starts | 11:00a.m. mass start. Start and finish within 5 minutes’ walk of the car park. |
| Registration | 10:00a.m. to 10:45a.m. Entry on the day only. |
| Facilities | No toilets at car park, but toilets in main car park 800m from registration and at Cockfosters tube station (en route from M25 on A111, 20p). Squash and mulled wine at finish. |
| Fees | Seniors £7 (£2x discount for BO National or SEOA members) Juniors & students £3 |
| Punching | Sportident electronic punching will be used. Dibber hire £1.00. Charge for mislaid dibbers £30. |
