Welcome to our Saturday Series and Youth League event at VENUE. Beginners are very welcome and there are courses for all standards. Heartwood Forest

Location  Heartwood Forest Car Park. The entrance to the car park is a short distance north of Sandridge on the B651 towards Wheathampstead. Entrance at OS Grid Ref. TL172110
Terrain Mainly rough open land, with substantial areas planted with small trees. Isolated areas of ancient woodland.
Parking In the visitor car park, with overspill in field adjacent.
Free parking.  No height restriction.
Courses Yellow ~ 2.5km (Junior Beginners)
Orange ~ 3.0km (Junior Intermediates & Adult Beginners)
Light Green ~ 4.0km (Adult Intermediates & above)
LG plus extension ~ 7.0km (Adult Intermediates & above)
All course lengths provisional.
Starts Register from 10:00 to 11:15 or visit http://sat.maptypes.org to reserve map/dibber but check website as normally only available a week in advance.
Last start 11:30.  Courses close at 12:30.
Fees Non-HH members: Adults £5, Juniors £2
HH members: Adults £3, Group Juniors £1, Individual Juniors £FREE.
Adults accompanying juniors are free.
Punching Sportident punching will be used.
Dibber hire £1.00. Charge for lost dibbers £30
Map Scale 1:7,500, pre-marked for all courses
Facilities Squash will be provided at the Finish. There are no toilet facilities at the event centre. The nearest public toilets are adjacent to the public car park in Sandridge.
Dogs Dogs permitted under control throughout the area. Please clear up any mess and deposit in a poo bin.
