Compass Sport Cup

HH won a close Compass Sport Cup heat, narrowly beating West Anglian OC at Brandon on the edge of Thetford Forest. This means we travel to the national final at Pippingford – part of Ashdown Forest in East Sussex – on Sunday 18th October. Please save the date!

As is often the case the scores were very close: 2452 for HH vs. 2447 for WAOC. (The scoring is based on 100 points for a win, 99 for 2nd, etc.) There were some great performances, with five course wins for Sian Mitchell, Hedley Calderbank, Janet Rosen, Rory Nesbit and Darrio Tam. Our turnout of over 40 was strong – and crucial, as with 25 runners to count the scoring system rewards depth. Thanks to all who made it.
