Organiser’s Comments

My first orienteering event was in Whippendell in 1985, so I was keen to organise the club’s return to the area. We were delighted with the numbers of competitors.

The wood and courses were great and York House was an excellent event centre. It would be nice of they were closer but at least we had the weather.

As always with HH there were many keen volunteers to help. Thanks to them and to David Heale for planning, Helen and Ian Marsden for controlling and Neil Gostick for liaising with the School.
