It was good to have such a large turnout for a Saturday, particularly from the schools competitors and to hear favourable comments from the competitors.
It is a long time since there has been an event at Fairlands, so it is a new area for many people, but it makes a good addition to our venues for Saturdays with its ample car park and varied terrain as well as cafe and toilets near by.
Finally thanks to WAOC and Stevenage Lesiure for letting us use the park and all the HH volunteers without whom the event would not have been a success.
