Please note:

  • Wearing high visibility clothing is highly advised now that the evenings are drawing in.
  • You should not come if you have symptoms of COVID-19.
  • While at the event you should give space and be courteous to members of the public.
Format 45 minute Score event – visit as many controls as you can in 45 minutes. You can walk, run or jog. Bring a smartphone or GPS watch if you have one, and pre-load the MapRun course: UK/Hertfordshire/HH WGC Finale 2022 PXAS ScoreV45 PZ (Download in advance; the PIN to unlock it will be provided at start).

It’ll be Street–O as you know it (visiting as many controls as you can in 45 minutes) but with an added twist – bonus points are available by ‘chaining’ your control type eg visiting two, or three, or four postboxes in a row will earn you extra points. What strategy will you pick to maximise your point scoring?
Full instructions will be provided at the start. Everyone is welcome: newcomers and Street–O veterans! It would be great to have a big turnout for our last event of the season. Afterwards we’ll be heading to Humphrey’s at the Campus West (~30 metres away) for a drink.
Timings Start between 19:00 and 19:20
Participants Everyone from 16+ who fancies an evening run with a difference. You can walk and jog too! The events will involve crossing busy roads so will in general NOT be suitable for under 16s unless accompanied by an adult.
Registration Pre-registration advisable (to guarantee a map) at https://hh.mapreservation.org.uk/
Registration closes at midday before the event. We will charge per registrant but you may cancel your entry up to registration close.
Entry Fees & Payment £2 for HH members, £3 for everyone else (including other BOF members).  Payment by bank transfer to HH – in advance of the event or immediately after!
Participants can pay for multiple events/family members with one payment (any credit left at the end of the series will be refunded).

Please email confirmation to treasurer@herts-orienteering.club to make matching names to registrations easier. If you end up running before paying you will need to reimburse the club within 48 hours.
Maps Waterproof maps will be provided on the night.
Parking Start outside the Campus West (AL8 6BX). Parking on nearby streets.  NB. The main Campus West car park is closed for redevelopment!
