One of our weekly series of informal Street-O events around Hertfordshire on Tuesday evenings.  Newcomers very welcome.

  • Wearing high visibility clothing is advised especially at the start and end of the Street-O season.

Meeting Point
& Parking		 Start / Finish is in Ripon Park. Organiser will be parked on S side of Ripon Park WD6 2HS, somewhere near w3w back.hints.cowboy. There is usually space.

If not, there’s off street parking 100m across the park at Manor Way Post Office WD6 1QU w3w rent.rigid.equal. Or it costs 90p for an hour’s parking in the park itself.

Elstree and Borehamwood station is 1.8km away.
Format 45 minute Score event – visit as many controls as you can in 45 minutes.  You can walk, run or jog.

Bring a smartphone or GPS watch if you have one, and pre-load the MapRun course:

Timings Start between 19:00 and 19:20
Participants Everyone from 16+ who fancies an evening run with a difference. You can walk and jog too! The events will involve crossing busy roads so will in general NOT be suitable for under 16s unless accompanied by an adult.
Registration You are advised to pre-register to ensure a map is available at https://hh.mapreservation.org.uk/
Limited entry on the day, subject to map availability.
Registration closes at midday before the event. We will charge per registrant but you may cancel your entry up to registration close.
Entry Fees & Payment £2 for British Orienteering members, £4 for non-members.
Payment by bank transfer to HH – in advance of the event or immediately after!
Participants can pay for multiple events/family members with one payment (any credit left at the end of the series will be refunded).Please email confirmation to treasurer@herts-orienteering.club to make matching names to registrations easier. If you end up running before paying you will need to reimburse the club within 48 hours.
Maps Waterproof maps will be provided on the night.
