Welcome to our Saturday Series and Youth League event at VENUE. Beginners are very welcome and there are courses for all standards. Rothamsted Research

Terrain Open parkland. The park is well-used by the public and dog-walkers. Also be aware of groups of youngsters taking part in football matches around the site. Please run round any matches (formal or otherwise) that may be taking place, if your course crosses them.
Parking  Main car park of the Rothamsted Research Facility which is on the west side of the A1081 St Albans Road (OS Grid ref: TL 136 135, postcode: AL5 2JQ), about 1/2 mile south of Harpenden high street. The car park is on the left of the access road, 250m from the entrance, behind a three-storey office block.

Registration and download are in the smaller of two pavilions another 200m into the site.
Courses Yellow 2.0 km, Orange 2.9 km, Lt Green 3.6 km plus optional 3.5km extension. All course lengths provisional.
Starts Register from 10:00 to 11:15 or visit https://www.herts-orienteering.club/getmap/to reserve map/dibber in advance.Last start 11:30.  Courses close at 12:30.
Fees Non-HH members: Adults £5, Juniors £2
HH members: Adults £3, Group Juniors £1, Individual Juniors £FREE.
Adults accompanying juniors are free.
Punching Sportident punching will be used.
Dibber hire £1.00.  Charge for lost dibbers £30
Map 1:5,000 pre-marked maps for all courses.
Facilities  Toilets and changing in the small pavilion. Water/squash at finish.
Dogs To be kept on a lead when in the Facility, otherwise no restrictions. Please be responsible with regard to dog behaviour and clear-up any mess they make.
