Welcome to our Saturday Series event at VENUE. Beginners are very welcome and there are courses for all standards. Highfield Park, St Albans

Terrain  Parkland. Longer courses may visit the surrounding streets.
Parking  Highfield Park Centre Car Park, off Russet Drive (AL4 0DB)
Public Transport 2.2km from St Albans City Station (SAC).
15 minutes from station on bus S1 to 200m away.
Courses Yellow ~ 2km (Junior Beginners)
Orange ~ 3km (Junior Intermediates & Adult Beginners)
Light Green ~ 4km (Adult Intermediates )
Blue ~ 7km
Please note light green and blue will not be suitable for juniors below their 16th birthday unless accompanied by an adult because of road crossings
Starts Register from 09:45 to 11:30 or visit http://sat.maptypes.org to reserve map/dibber from about a week in advance.
Starts from 10:00 – 11:30. Courses close at 12:30
Fees Non-HH members: Adults £5, Juniors £2
HH members: Adults £3, Group Juniors £1, Individual Juniors £FREE.
Adults accompanying juniors are free.
Punching Sportident punching will be used.
Dibber hire £1.00. Charge for lost dibbers £30
Map  1:5,000 pre-marked maps for all courses.
Facilities  Toilets will be available. Squash / water provided at finish.
Dogs  Under control
Safety Orienteering is an adventure sport. You take part at your own risk and are responsible for your own safety.
