Due to the extremely high temperatures forecasted for Tuesday 19th July we have regretfully decided that this event will not take place for safety reasons. It has therefore been postponed and will be reschedule, we will advise of the new date soon.
- Ensure you bring plenty of water with you (very high temperatures are forecast) as this will not be provided.
- You should not come if you have symptoms of COVID-19.
- While at the event you should give space and be courteous to members of the public.
|45 minute Score event – visit as many controls as you can in 45 minutes. You can walk, run or jog. Bring a smartphone or GPS watch if you have one, and pre-load the MapRun course: UK/Hertfordshire/HH Garston 2022 PXAS ScoreV45 PZ (Download in advance; the PIN to unlock it will be provided at start).
|Start between 19:00 and 19:20
|Everyone from 16+ who fancies an evening run with a difference. You can walk and jog too! The events will involve crossing busy roads so will in general NOT be suitable for under 16s unless accompanied by an adult.
|No entry on the day. You must pre-register at https://hh.mapreservation.org.uk/
Registration closes at midday on the day of the event. We will charge per registrant but you may cancel your entry up to registration close.
|Entry Fees & Payment
|£2 for HH members, £3 for everyone else (including other BOF members). Payment by bank transfer to HH – in advance of the event or immediately after!
Participants can pay for multiple events/family members with one payment (any credit left at the end of the series will be refunded).
Please email confirmation to firstname.lastname@example.org to make matching names to registrations easier. If you end up running before paying you will need to reimburse the club within 48 hours.
|Waterproof maps will be provided on the night.
|Watford Town Cricket Club (upper car park) – postcode WD25 7HH can be used to navigate to near, but you will need to follow signs to the cricket club. Alternatively use the what 3 words locator: tiles.intervals.sprint
The parking at the bottom of the hill requires (free) tickets while the car park at the top is long stay and no tickets are needed.
