Christmas Training and Social
Your annual opportunity to rid yourself of some of your Christmas indulgence. All welcome!
Our annual Christmas (technical) training this year will be held on 28th December at Northaw Great Wood.
As usual training will be followed by a club social nearby when we will aim to provide games, quizzes and an opportunity to meet and chat with fellow club members.
All club members are welcome to attend both the training and social or just one of them if you wish.
| Training | This year’s winter training will be held at Northaw Great Wood. For those who attended training last year we are planning to move further west in order to reduce the overlap with last year’s courses.
Training will run from 10.30 to around 12.30. We are planning a range of exercises but as usual if there is something specific that you would like to practise please let us know and we’ll see what we can do. If you are planning to join us please let Keith know (training@herts-orienteering.club) so that we can plan suitable courses and provide sufficient maps. |
| Social | The Northaw and Cuffley Youth Centre has been booked from 11 am until mid afternoon. ( If you are not attending training you are welcome to come to the Youth Centre from 11 am onwards)
Baked potatoes and fillings will be provided along with tea, coffee and squash. Please bring along any savoury snacks or cakes, mince pies or fruit. Please let Mike (chair@herts-orienteering.club) know if you will be staying for lunch. During and after lunch there will be some games and activities at the Youth Centre for all to try.
