Terrain Dense deciduous woodland crossed by footpaths and rides.
Parking Adjacent to the cricket field at Chipperfield TL045 015. Event centre at Blackwells Café, The Common, Chipperfield, WD4 9BS.

There are a number of small car parks around Chipperfield Common. Marshals will direct you to an appropriate one or to on-street parking.
Public Transport Infrequent bus 352 from Hemel Hempstead or Watford.
Courses For the Youth League, boys and girls compete in separate, age-dependant classes:

5 White 1.0 – 1.5 km
6 Yellow 1.5 – 2.5 km
7 / 8 Orange 3.0 – 3.6 km
9 / 10 Orange 3.0 – 3.6 km
11 / 12 / 13 Light Green 3.2 – 4.0 km

In addition to the White, Yellow, Orange and Light Green courses above, there will be a Blue course of distance c. 6km. Adults and other runners who are not participating in the Youth League may enter any course.

Starts from 10:00 – 11:30. Courses close at 12:30
Fees Non-HH members: Adults £5, Juniors £2
HH members: Adults £3,  Juniors £FREE.
Adults accompanying juniors are free. Extra maps, if available, £1.
Punching Sportident punching will be used.
Dibber hire £1.00. Charge for lost dibbers £30

Courses premarked on A4 waterproof paper, Blue map is double sided.
Facilities Event centre at Blackwells Café. A good selection of hot and cold food and drink is available. Toilets.

Please, no muddy or spiked footwear indoors.
Dogs Dogs allowed on a lead, but not in café. Please clear up after your dog.
Safety Orienteering is an adventure sport. You take part at your own risk and are responsible for your own safety.

Please be considerate of other users of the Common, including horse riders and dog walkers.

Take care crossing the road to start and back from finish. The crossing will be marshalled. All roads are out of bounds when you are running your course.
