Organiser’s Comments

Thank you to all who turned out at Nomansland today for our Saturday Series event. Despite the rain through the week, the weather was surprisingly good, helping to make it a pleasant event to run in.

Thanks to Ian for planning his first Saturday Series and David for Controlling. Ian’s courses were a tale of two halves, with the trickier wooded sections followed by some longer controls on the Common side of Ferrer’s Lane but finishing with a few controls through the less-well-used section of woods and contours in the South-West.

Thanks, as always at Nomansland, to Will for letting us use West End Farm as the event centre and for car parking. Without his being so accommodating, Nomansland would be trickier to run and it makes organisation so much simpler to have use of the barn and hard standing for parking.

And, of course, thanks to all the HH volunteers and helpers who helped to run the event. It ran like clockwork and everyone’s efforts are well appreciated.

See you next week for the British Night Championships and the Ace of Herts, our biggest weekend of the year. There is still time to enter the Ace of Herts and we already have a bumper entry so don’t miss out on a map.
