Organiser’s Comments
Many Thanks for coming today. Everyone seemed to enjoy the woodland and Beatrix’s slightly more challenging but very well received courses (‘fantastic’ one comment), then all helped by the well organised spring sunshine.
Many Thanks to all our expert helpers who make organising pretty straightforward. As organiser I only really had to finesse things e.g. seeing that the flag would be better on one side of the road than the other. In particular, Beatrix for planning and Mike for his wise controlling
Many Thanks also to Dacorum Council for supporting, publicising the event and giving us permission. To St Paul’s school for the use of their playground which made all the difference given the popularity of the area and the football tournament just down the road, and to Blackwells cafe for their room, loos and very good refreshments.
Our next Saturday Series event is at Highfield Park, St Albans, on the 30th May. We had to move it, because on our normal first Saturday of the month there is a big football tournament in the park, so put it in your calendars at the end of May. We also have Training back at Chipperfield in a couple of weeks, which Alex was checking today and will be good, so please join us for both events.
Lastly I think I have a couple of pieces of lost property. A compass and blue top. They were left on an outdoor table at the cafe next to some club kit. jngostick@gmail.com if they are yours
