The results for the handicap trophies are based on the British Orienteering ranking score for Black Park relative to each person’s average ranking score. So both winners ran considerably quicker than their average run – well done!

As well as the trophy winners, there were some honourable mentions. Poppy Chorlton ran impressively to be first HH female on the Green course, but there is no Open/Junior trophy on that course. Darrio Tam and Anna Lucia Gonzalez Blankenship were close behind in second place on the Intermediate Boys & Girls trophy. And well done to Laura Parkes who managed to combine 3rd place in Women’s Open with 2nd in the Open Handicap – the only double podium of the day.
