Whippendell Woods, Watford

At present, the permanent course is not available. It is being refreshed with a new map  – expected shortly…

Whippendell is a pleasant wood near Watford, comprising mainly of deciduous woodland on gentle slopes.  There are some open and semi-open areas, one or two large depressions and lots of small knolls and root-stocks.  This wood is not large enough for Badge events, but has been used for more or less every other type of event at some time in its history.

Whippendell Wood now forms part of the larger Cassiobury Estate.
