Terrain Open parkland with some runnable woodland.
Parking  Parking in West Herts College, Hempstead Road, WD17 3EZ. Follow red and white tapes ~400m to the event centre just inside the park at the end of Stratford Way.

There is very limited on-street parking available nearby. If you are lucky enough to find a space, please enter the park by the Stratford Way entrance. See map below – click on icons for more information.

Safety Orienteering is an adventure sport. You take part at your own risk and are responsible for your own safety.

There are building works in the central area of the park. The main areas are surrounded by high fences and are marked as ‘out of bounds’ on the map. Do not cross any of those fences except at marked crossing points. Small fenced areas  (< 10mx10m) appear irregularly all over the park. They should not affect courses significantly.

Orange and above pass a small car park. You may run along the edge of it but be aware of vehicles.

Longer courses cross the River Gade and the Grand Union Canal. Cross only by mapped bridges and not by lock gates, the water is deep.

The golf course to the west of the map is out of bounds.

Please be considerate of other park users: walkers with and without dogs, cyclists etc.

Dogs  Dogs allowed on a lead. Please clear up behind your dog.
